Cairn has an opportunity for a high calibre detail focused Systems Administrator to come in and provide system support on Cairn’s companywide construction document and quality management system. This role includes set up and configuration of new projects, managing user access, and training and troubleshooting with system users.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with setup of new Construction projects by customising pre-formatted template folder arrangements and uploading information to meet project specific requirements
- Manage user access, including adding and removing users and configuring permissions.
- Creating and editing of folders, forms, and checklists as required
- Troubleshoot user issues and respond to helpdesk queries for Cairn staff and our partners
- Conduct new user training and offer support or refresher training as needed to the various participants. System uploads should be monitored to identify skills gaps where additional training is needed.
- Implementing systems changes and updates and testing new features ahead of release
- As the system evolves, liaise with end users to log change requests, as well as putting forward suggestions for system improvements to be implemented
- Conduct regular audits of the document management system to ensure the various project specific information is being uploaded in the intended format, to ensure that there is a consistency of information across all sites
- Assisting with the compiling and checking of priority site specific information required for transfer at completion stage
The candidate:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an administration role
- Experience managing high-volume administrative requirements
- Experience working with IT/Quality Systems an advantage, but not mandatory
- Pro-efficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A strong ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment where organisation, and a high attention to detail is required
- A strong ability to communicate and build relationships across diverse teams
- Self-motivated team player but with the ability to work on one’s own initiative
- Customer focussed individual with a “can do” attitude
