Key Responsibilities;

  • Work with senior members of the Investment Team in providing accurate financial modelling (including Joint Venture/Partnership structures with project specific finance) and scenario planning to enable effective decision making across the portfolio and new deals
  • Work cross functionally in compiling, preparing and finalising investment materials (including acquisition/development appraisals, investment memos) to support key decision making
  • Support the maintenance and due diligence of our internal portfolio / financial appraisals.
  • Support early-stage business planning and development assessment of the private, commercial, rental, and affordable sector.
  • Market research of the affordable, social, commercial and MFU sectors in Ireland and globally.
  • Support feasibility and sensitivity analysis etc. of potential acquisition opportunities for the business.
  • Issuing regular reports on Cairn’s extensive portfolio options to be reviewed by senior members of the Investment Team and Chief Investment Officer.

The candidate;

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in a quantitative/finance based role. Experience with the real estate market (e.g. investment, development, lending etc) desirable but not essential.
  • A keen interest in real estate development
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills required
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail are key
  • An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
  • The ability to work independently using their own initiative.
