Cairn has a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Investor Relations Analyst to work with and support Cairn's Investor Relations Team, reporting to the Senior Investor Relations Manager.

The successful person will be an experienced, motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and production of all investor relations materials for the company’s interim and full year results, trading updates, annual report, website development, fact sheets etc
Financial modelling, analysis and maintenance of consensus forecast / sell-side analyst financial models
Facilitating investor and analyst site visits
Monitoring market and industry trends
Management of the IR CRM system
Preparation of strategy and other presentations for executive and senior management teams
Preparation of regular internal reports from internal departments
Other relevant and ad hoc projects as required

The Candidate

Relevant third level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields
3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role or related capital markets
Equity research and/or relevant capital markets experience advantageous
Financial analysis skills including company valuation methodologies and financial statement analysis and metrics
Excellent interpersonal skills
Confidence engaging with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve excellent results
Works effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities
Excellent verbal and written presentational skills
Maintains a strong attention to detail and accuracy when working within tight timeframes
Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
