Landscape Construction Manager

The Landscape Operations Manager will work closely within the landscape department and with site teams to ensure a high standard of site preparation works and will oversee the delivery of landscape works ensuring full value is derived from the landscape spend.
The Landscape Operations Manager will oversee the landscape maintenance of the Cairn portfolio and Cairn managed developments. This person will report to the Head of Landscape and Urban Design
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head of Dept. with the monitoring, tracking & reporting of a broad range of landscape projects at various stage of Planning, Pre Construction, Construction and post construction stage.
Assist in procurement of soft & hard landscape specifications.
Assist and supervise the landscape tendering and contractor appointment process.
Supervise the implementation of landscape works on numerous development sites through the proactive engagement with contractors and Cairn project teams.
Oversee the handover of completed schemes to Management Companies, Local Authorities and Purchasers.
Supervise the ongoing landscape maintenance of completed schemes under Cairn management.
Provide assistance too our Customer Care team in addressing landscape related queries.
Preparation and maintaining of inspection records.
Management and maintenance of the fallow sites within the Cairn land bank.
Assist and lead on numerous landscape innovation projects.
Role to be multi-site based.
The Candidate:
Qualification (level 8) in Amenity Horticulture or Landscape Architecture.
Min. of 5+ years Professional Experience.
Experience in overseeing the implementation of large scale residential & public landscape works.
Experience in overseeing the landscape planning and design stage management of large scale residential & public landscape works an advantage.
Experience of contracts management of landscape works.
Full clean Driver’s licence and flexibility to travel between development sites
Highly developed knowledge of soft & hard landscape materials.
Developed knowledge of site operations, local authority liaison and design team coordination.
