As homebuilder, Cairn is uniquely placed, we retain control of the development lifecycle from land acquisition, design and planning, procurement & preconstruction through to construction and handover.

Cairn has a unique opportunity for an Operations Administrator within the Business Development function.

Key Responsibilities      

Typically, the candidate will be expected to undertake and assist with the following duties:

  • Provide support as delegated to include calendar management, monthly report compilation, minute taking and general administration including arrangements of fee’s/payments for statutory bodies
  • Draft reports for meetings and presentations for both internal and external audiences including preparation of presentations for Directors
  • Assist with the review of research and management of project related work
  • Develop and maintain relationships and liaise with key external stakeholders
  • Liaising with other Operations Administrators to ensure action points from meetings are communicated and following up on same as      required
  • Draft correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordination of meetings and events from scheduling, organising logistics as required and following up on action points coming out of these meetings
  • Maintenance and filing of documents
  • Coordination of team policy documents and being the point of contact for the Corporate Development team
  • Assist with broader industry and competitor analysis
  • Occasional reception cover during busy periods
  • Be a point of contact for queries and escalate as appropriate with line managers
  • Any other ad-hoc requirements as required
  • Occasional visits to site will be required
  • Other tasks will be allocated to reflect increasing levels of development and experience.

 The Candidate 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrator role
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • A strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment where relationships, organisation, and a high attention to detail is required
  • Self-motivated team player but with the ability to work on one’s own initiative
  • Ability to communicate across functional departments and work to deadlines
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Understanding / experience of CRM systems a plus
