We are currently hiring for a high calibre  Project and Partnerships Lead for the Cairn Apprenticeship Programme. You will play a pivotal role in engaging with our supply chain and external stakeholders, including industry partners and government entities. Your primary responsibility will be to manage projects and foster strategic partnerships that enhance the apprenticeship and traineeship programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead and manage projects related to the apprenticeship and traineeship programmes, ensuring they align with Cairn's strategic goals.
  • Engage with policymakers, industry leaders, and educational institutions to promote and support the apprenticeship and traineeship initiatives.
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the programmes to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collect and synthesise data from various sources to support programme development and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and integration of the apprenticeship and traineeship initiatives with the programme's short-, medium-, and long-term goals.
  • Organise and participate in events, workshops, and seminars to promote the apprenticeship and traineeship programmes and engage with potential participants.

Strategic Partnerships and Programme Support

  • Act as a subject matter expert in researching and advising on strategic educational partnerships with universities, such as ATU, and local Education Training Boards (ETBs).
  • Support Cairn in accessing training through various ETBs and incorporate this into the programme design.
  • Provide guidance on forming strong partnerships to enhance the apprenticeship and traineeship programmes and create valuable opportunities for participants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry and government to promote the apprenticeship and traineeship programmes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the apprenticeship and traineeship initiatives and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support with the preparation of detailed reports and presentations for Cairn senior management and external stakeholders to communicate the progress and impact of the apprenticeship and traineeship programme initiatives.

Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years relevant project management experience
  • Track record in working effectively with a broad base of project stakeholders
  • Experience working with with Solas, National Apprenticeship Office, Education Training Boards an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills, capable of providing strategic input to programme planning and implementation and making informed decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present information clearly, concisely, and confidently
  • Excellent team player, who supports and collaborates with colleagues to achieve organisational goals
