We are recruiting for this upcoming role with an anticipated start date in Q1 2026.
Sales Executive
The Sales Executive plays a key role within the Transactions Team, supporting the full lifecycle of private customer transactions. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, this role focuses exclusively on managing and progressing private sales, ensuring a seamless customer experience from contract to close.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of private customer transactions, from initial agreement through to exchange and closing.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the private sales closing process—including snags, inspections, valuations, and legal formalities—are scheduled and completed on time.
- Produce accurate and timely updates on private sales progress for the Transactions Team and Senior Management.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g. Legal, Sales, Customer Experience, Construction) to ensure smooth delivery of private sales.
- Liaise with external advisors including agents, solicitors, and property managers to support private customer transactions.
- Lead private sales through the contract process, ensuring all milestones are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Clearly communicate progress and timelines to private customers, ensuring a high standard of service throughout.
- Stay informed on national and local housing policy to ensure private sales align with market expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Support the delivery of Cairn’s private housing portfolio and contribute to identifying new opportunities for growth in the private sales space.
The candidate;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in real estate with a Property Economics, Property Development, Commercial Agency, or Estate Management background.
- Commercial valuation and / or agency experience is a distinct advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem solving and attention to detail-orientation.
- Excellent working knowledge of latest market norms, end user and Investor requirements.
- An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
- The ability to work independently using their own initiative.
