Cairn has a unique opportunity for a skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our expanding IT & Digital Transformation team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage cross functional IT & Business transformation projects enabling Cairn to scale their cloud-based technology to complement our highly successful operational platforms.

This role will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of IT related projects, liaising with internal and external partners, ensuring that projects are delivered within scope and budget.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations and assist in business case preparation: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Work closely with key systems / business users and SME’s in regard to requirements gathering and user stories validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development teams and business analysts.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage issues, and ensure quality assurance
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders through monthly reports, dashboards, and presentations
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security and data protection policies.

The Candidate: 

  • 10+ years' experience in a Senior IT Project or Programme Manager role.
  • Project Management qualification: PMP, Scrum Master Certification, Prince2.
  • Previous business analysis experience.
  • A proven track record of project managing IT Application and Cloud projects, ranging from online to back office applications, involving integration with new third party platforms and upgrades to existing systems.
  • Experience transitioning new and updated services to support teams within IT and across the broader business.
  • Proven responsibility in all phases of project and delivery within tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Exceptional project management skills with experience of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience on Dynamics 365, Business Central, Azure DevOps and Automation project delivery will be an advantage.
