Cairn plc. has a unique opportunity for a high calibre Transaction Project Support to manage the successful delivery of contracts through the pre-contract, executions and closing process. Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, the successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the preparation and review of information to be included in contract for sale, including work on large institutional sales in addition to contract preparation in advance of the private sale launches.
  • Liaise and collaborate with the various internal teams within Cairn to obtain documentation required for contract preparation and in advance of sale completion
  • Engage with external consultants and our external legal teams to ensure contract drafting is progressing in line with our target programme dates
  • Respond to any legal and technical due diligence queries
  • Maintain the internal sales data base to ensure all closing documentation received has been accurately logged and tracked.
  • Ensure Cairn’s contract reporting and forecast closing dates are accurate
  • Responsible for the maintenance and management of sales documentation library on SharePoint ensuring a consistent approach across each project and all records are kept up to date and follow the same naming conventions *
  • Assist with sales reporting as required which will include administration of the team's weekly meeting agenda and action list
  • Assist with the collation of the documentation required for monthly valuations. This will involve liaising with the commercial and construction teams.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across Cairn multi-functional construction teams to secure timely delivery of assets
  • Liaise with professional advisors such as agents, property managers, architects, solicitors etc
  • Proactive day to day management of project delivery agreements
  • Provide weekly/monthly updates across all assets/projects on delivery progress vs. delivery agreement
  • Undertake site visits as required
  • Maintain detailed files and management information to ensure that all commercial activity, milestones and recommended actions are tracked
  • Maintain asset dashboards/trackers.
  • This job specification is a general outline and may vary depending on the specific requirements of the company.

The Candidate;

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in real estate with a Property Economics, Property Development, Commercial Agency, or Estate Management background
  • Commercial valuation and / or agency experience is a distinct advantage
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills required 
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem solving and attention to detail-orientation
  • Excellent working knowledge of latest market norms, end user and Investor requirements
  • An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
  • The ability to work independently using their own initiative
  • A clean driving license and have access to vehicle.
