Cairn plc. has a unique opportunity for a high calibre Transactions Executive within the Transactions Team, to support the management of successful land, customer, state and commercial transactions. 

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities and requirements and will report into the Transactions Manager – PMO. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management - Work across the life-cycle of our land, customer, state and commercial customers, through off and on-market process, commercial negotiation, contract due diligence, asset delivery, and asset management. 
  • Asset Delivery - Timely delivery of land, customer, state and commercial customers, from practical completion to being market ready through to close of sale. 
  • Analysis and Reporting - Produce accurate and reliable project updates for Senior Management within the Transactions Team.  
  • Collaborate across Cairn multi-functional teams to secure timely delivery of assets. 
  • Liaise with professional advisors such as agents, property managers, architects, solicitors etc. 
  • Clearly communicate sales progress and delivery timelines. 
  • Lead sale through the contract process, liaising with clients, external solicitors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely close out of key milestones. 
  • Manage housing body and county council relationships through close of sale and communicate Cairn’s best in class position to deliver quality new build homes. 
  • Research national and local housing policy in real time to ensure Cairn is forward looking and positioned to deliver homes in line with market and national demand. 
  • Agile approach to deliver on Cairn’s housing portfolio and actively identify further growth opportunities. 

The candidate; 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in real estate with a Property Economics, Property Development, Commercial Agency, or Estate Management background. 
  • Commercial valuation and / or agency experience is a distinct advantage. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills required. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. 
  • Strong problem solving and attention to detail-orientation.  
  • Excellent working knowledge of latest market norms, end user and Investor requirements. 
  • An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets. 
  • The ability to work independently using their own initiative.
