Craft Apprentice 

Are you a motivated individual with a passion for learning a skilled trade? Cairn is currently seeking applications on behalf of our large subcontractor base for Craft Apprentices to work on one of our large-scale residential developments. You will have the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized qualification in your chosen craft. If you are eager to kickstart your career in the construction industry, we want to hear from you. 

Position Details: 

• The craft apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced professionals to learn and develop skills in a specific trade, such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing.  

• The apprentice will receive on-the-job training and classroom instruction to gain knowledge and experience in their chosen craft. 

• The apprentice will follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. 

• The apprentice will work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification in the chosen craft through a combination of practical experience and academic study. 

Requirements: 

• Must be at least 16 years old. 

• Must have completed their Leaving Certificate 

• Must have a strong interest in and commitment to learning a specific craft trade. 

• Must be able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
