Research Data Analyst

The Research Data Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

They will monitor and analyse all internal driven research and support with the implementation of new methods for collating research, to include external research.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in managing content for CEO & CFO meetings, including incorporating relevant research as required.
• Help in collating research, presentations and board presentations for members of the Cairn Leadership Team as required.
• Monitor and report on external research related to Irish housing, mortgage markets, and macroeconomic trends.
• Oversee the preparation of research materials for external communications, including interim and annual results, website development, and fact sheets.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on industry trends, market data, and competitor information.
• Support the cross functional internal research framework.
• Stay updated on industry news, emerging trends, and best practices in research analysis.

The Candidate

• Relevant third level qualification in Finance, Communications or Business Administration
• Construction experience not required but sector knowledge advantageous.
• Confidence engaging with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve excellent results.
• Works effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Excellent verbal and written presentational skills.
• Maintains a strong attention to detail and accuracy when working within tight timeframes.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Experience in use of Python, R or other programming languages.
