Cairn has a unique opportunity for a high calibre detail focused Utilities coordinator, working as part of a team to ensure the administration requirements associated with various state, semi- state and private utility bodies is fully managed.
Key responsibilities:
- Administration management and tracking of all utility connections including maintaining a utility tracker for all active construction projects; tracking and monitoring of applications submitted by consultants & metering status, processing connection offers by securing signatures, payments and legal agreements- including wayleaves.
- Submitting utility applications as required – Liaising with external design teams and internal site teams, completing application forms, compiling supporting documentation, monitoring progress and finalising contracts
- Look-ahead support – planning for new developments by liaising with site teams to ensure all site start-up administration criteria is met for utilities and third-party requirements.
- Administration of HomeBond submissions – compiling and uploading registration information, review of site documentation ahead of submissions, tracking submissions, act as point of contact between Cairn and HomeBond
- Assistance with utility billing – registration with suppliers, monitoring billing, ensuring domestic transfer to new account holders. Recording usage/ commercial data for use in internal reporting
- Multipurpose tasks– compiling of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) information & other miscellaneous reporting, document management, administration support tasks as required
The candidate:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an administration role
- Experience managing high-volume administrative requirements
- Pro-efficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A strong ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment where relationships, organisation, and a high attention to detail is required
- Self-motivated team player but with the ability to adapt and work on one’s own initiative
- Customer focussed individual with a “can do” attitude
